The Scan button is right next to this drop down list. At the top left corner is the pre-selected hard drive (C:) which can be clicked on to drop down a list of alternative hard drives (assuming you have others installed or plugged in as USB drives). Once the installation is finished, there are the options to run the software immediately or “view the introduce.”
The package only requires 3.2 MB of space to fully install to a Windows system. There is also a useful “Select All” option to save time by recovering all deleted files in a folder. Clicking on a folder reveals the files which can then be selected individually for recovery. A detailed scan of a hard drive can be run which will generate a folder tree of all folders that have files which may be recovered. The software can attempt to recover damaged or deleted files from USB flash drives, local hard drives, MP3 players, digital cameras, removable storage devices, and more.
